Abstract
Peace and conflict studies is essentially navigated through an interdisciplinary social science and humanistic approach which incorporates elements of sociology, political science, philosophy, history, psychology, social anthropology, geography, economics, and religious studies.
Description
The chapter provides the basic introduction to peace and conflict resolution with the aim of familiarising students with the origins of peace and conflict studies and the prominent concepts that have evolved as part of the current discourse in peace and conflict resolution studies.
