dc.description.abstractKnowledge or information they say is power. For any nation to develop, the rate of information literacy within such nation must be very high. Abu Abu, Isah, Oyedum & Bitagi (2017) states that national development could mainly be achieved by well responsible and intellectual citizens, because all sectors of government like social, economic, human capacity, agriculture and health are supposed to impact positively on the lives of individuals. The authors add that it is important to note that the quality of man power that possess technical know-how to improve the standard of living depend solely on the availability of information. Therefore, information plays a vital role in achieving sustainable knowledge development of all citizens
